01 / THE BEGINNING / 2024
IT STARTED WITH A QUESTION.
In 2024, ALU PACIFIC began with a question: what would luggage look like if we designed it around the journey, not the category?
We went back to the object itself — how it closes, how it moves, how it takes impact, and how it should feel beside you for years of travel.
02 / THE FIRST BRIEF
REMOVE WHAT WE DIDN'T TRUST.
NO ZIPPER.
NO FLEXING PLASTIC SHELL.
NO EXPOSED FABRIC.
NO UNPROTECTED CORNERS.
The first brief began with what we didn't want to rely on: a zipper as the main closure, a flexing plastic shell, exposed fabric on the exterior or corners left unprotected at impact. Those compromises had to go first. What replaced them became the foundation: a rigid aluminium frame, two integrated TSA locks and reinforced metal corners.
03 / DEVELOPMENT & MANUFACTURING
FROM PAPER TO METAL.
The drawing was only the start. Moving from prototype into production turned proportion, frame, rib geometry, locks, corners, wheels and handle into one physical system.
Every visible junction became part of the design.
04 / THE MATERIAL
WHY ALUMINIUM.
We chose aluminium because luggage should feel solid before the journey even begins. Every case in the Atlas Collection pairs a rigid aluminium shell with a zipperless frame secured by two integrated TSA locks. Cool to the touch and precise when it closes, the material gives each case the engineered character we wanted from the beginning.
ONCE YOU KNOW THE SOLID CLOSE OF THE FRAME, ORDINARY LUGGAGE FEELS DIFFERENT.

THE IDEA, NOW PHYSICAL.
Atlas became the first expression of ALU PACIFIC: aluminium on the outside, structure at the centre, and every touchpoint reduced to what the journey needs.
